Some people believe that positive thinking helps them to heal, but it helps only when patients can transform their thinking into creating a positive life. In other words, positive thinking is not enough, but positive action sprung from positive thinking helps to heal. We cannot heal by constantly thinking of healing, even if we are thinking about healing in a very positive way. When we think about healing, we inevitably think of our sicknesses. In order to heal, however, we must move from our consciousness of sickness to a consciousness of health. We must focus on what we would do if we were already healthy. We must discover our reason to be alive and our expectations from life. We have to find our reasons to be healthy. We must focus on the places we want to visit, the languages we want to learn, the instruments we want to play, painting, dancing, singing, or whatever will make us active and engaged and help us channel our energies. Albert Einstein said, “Problems cannot be solved with the same mindset that created them.” As Dr. Dispenza often says, “Change your energy, change your life.”
